The Phipps Tennis Pavilion is located just north of the Phipps Mansion. The venue includes the beautiful gardens and patio area as well as the Pavilion itself. Completed in 1932, the Tennis Pavilion is purported to be the very first indoor tennis facility built west of the Mississippi River. The Tutor and Mediterranean style facility features a glass roof over the 8,000 square foot court area, a formal living room, a gallery area, and comfortable sitting room areas.
