Biographical Information:

Moderator: Mr. Mark Taylor is Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Level 3’s Content Markets Group with responsibility for managing emerging market opportunities. Over the past five years, he has held a variety of positions within the company, most recently as head of Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions in Europe and previously, as head of the IP & Data Services Strategic Business Unit in Europe.

Prior to joining Level 3, Mark spent two years as a Business Leader for Concert, a joint venture between AT&T and British Telecommunictions (BT), where he managed global customer contract origination and execution. He also worked with BT Syncordia Solutions, the Information & Communications Technology unit of BT.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Plymouth University and a post graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Kingston Business School.

Google Panelist: Vince Chirico currently heads up both the Mountain States and Southwest Regions for Google. He consults with key business decision makers to assist with mitigating pain points and achieving sales and marketing objectives. In addition to his daily sales responsibility, Vince is a steward of the Google value proposition and helps evangelize Google’s story for all marketers. Prior to assuming responsibility for the Mountain States and Southwest Regions, Vince headed up the US travel practice in the East for Google.

Vince has over 10 years of experience in the travel industry having worked on both the supplier and distribution sides of the business. Prior to joining Google, he spent two years as Cendant’s Vice-President of Strategy, Marketing and Product Development in their Travel Distribution Services division and nearly eight years with Delta Air Lines in multiple posts, most notably General Manager of e-Business Development where he headed up strategy and business development for delta.com and served as Delta’s lead in the creation of ORBITZ.com.

Vince graduated summa cum laude from Temple University with an undergraduate degree in business administration in 1986 and earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 1991. He works out of Google’s Denver, CO offices where he lives with his lovely wife Kristina and dog Orion.

EchoStar Panelist: Scott Higgins oversees the ITV programming group that is responsible for designing, managing and marketing the DISH Network’s iTV channel – DISH Home and DishONLINE. The iTV group has launched over 45 interactive TV programs covering news, sports, entertainment, lifestyles, games and customer support along with over 100 interactive ad campaigns. These programs are available to over 12 million Dish Network households. In 2007, the ITV Programming group launched a viewer measurement reporting system to support Googles TVadsense program and Echostar’s internal reporting system.

Prior to working at DISH, Scott has worked in the software, TV, and music industries. At OpenTV, he was General Manager of the US that produces interactive programming for the OpenTV platform. Scott was responsible for the development process that included design, licensing content data, development and delivery of interactive programming.

At Electronic Arts, he was an Executive-in-charge of Production where he oversaw EA’s interactive properties NCAA Football, Jane’s military simulations, the Strike series, Future Cop and Fantasy Sports. Prior to Electronic Arts, Scott worked for the Family Channel and MTM Entertainment in Studio City, California. Hill Street Blues, Evening Shade, St Elsewhere, WKRP and The Pretender were several of the TV series that Scott was involved with while at MTM.

Outside of work, Scott is busy with industry and community groups. He is a Board member of the Fantasy Sports Player Association, Board member of the California Summer School for the Arts and Chairman of the Cherry Hills Village Events Committee.

Scott graduated from Clemson University in 1980 and was a member of the 1979 Gator Bowl Championship team. He received his MBA from Pepperdine University in 1992. Married to his beautiful wife Laurie and has four children: Kendall, Danielle, Andrew and John.

The Integer Group Panelist: Morgan McAlenney In the world of interactive marketing and new media, having someone with legitimate experience and foresight means everything. Morgan fits the bill perfectly, leading the Internet Marketing and New Media divisions at Integer. Morgan started his career back in 1992 at Redgate Communications (a media consulting firm led by Ted Leonsis), which was acquired by AOL in 1994. At AOL, Morgan worked alongside a team of experts to launch the very first eCommerce destination—the AOL Shopping Channel. Once the channel was up and running, Morgan’s expertise in eCommerce, online advertising, and promotional strategies proved invaluable as he provided counsel for AOL brand partners, including Starbucks Coffee Company, AVON products, CBS television network, Pfizer, L.L.Bean, and FedEx.

Morgan was part of many firsts at Integer, including strategizing and launching brand Web sites for the Coors Brewing Company portfolio of brands. He also executed the first mobile-message in-bar promotion for Coors Light. On top of all that, he has managed more than 100 national online promotion sites for a wide range of clients, the most notable of which include Coors, P&G, WhiteWave Foods, Excedrin, Polaris, and Coca-Cola.

The philosophy that Morgan adheres to reflects his passion for the interactive world: “Use digital media to attract, engage, and retain the target consumers who will help build brands and move product over time.”

The Denver News Agency Panelist: Elaine Zinngrabe is the Senior Vice President, Interactive, for the Denver Newspaper Agency, which publishes the Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News. In this role, she oversees advertising, operations and product development for both denverpost.com, rockymountainnews.com and yourhub.com.

Prior to this, Elaine spent nine years at the Los Angeles Times, most recently as a publisher in the Times Community News group. From 1998-2005, Elaine served in a variety of roles at Los Angeles Times Interactive, including business editor, deputy editor for operations, executive producer and general manager.

Elaine is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Journalism from the Annenberg School of Communications and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business. She began her career as a copy editor and reporter at the Seattle Times.
